Affiliate Disclosure

Current status: Carus Signal does not currently use affiliate links.

We're publishing this policy now so it's in place before we do, not because we're already running an affiliate program.

If/when we do use affiliate links

If we add affiliate or referral links in the future (for example, to tools, books, or services we genuinely recommend), we will:

Mark the specific links or section clearly as affiliate/referral links, at the point they appear in a post.
Only recommend things we'd recommend anyway, whether or not there's a commission attached.
Never let a commission relationship change our assessment of whether something is actually good — see our Editorial Policy.

How this site currently makes money

Right now, revenue plans center on Google AdSense (pending approval) and, longer-term, an optional paid Ghost membership/newsletter tier. Neither of those is an affiliate relationship — see our Privacy Policy for how AdSense cookies work if/when that's live.
